President: Jacqueline Garcia Jacqueline Garcia earned her BBA in Accounting from UTEP with Magna Cum Laude honors and is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma honor societies. Jacqui has been preparing income tax returns for over five years for no compensation and has been a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant with the IRS. She has held various positions in the financial industry for over 10 years including her most recent position as Accountant for a local law firm. Through her journey, she has discovered her passion is income tax preparation. She is married and lives with her husband who is a teacher at a charter High School. Together, they enjoy hiking, camping, biking, and are avidly involved in the community. Jacqui joined the Junior League of El Paso in 2015 and is the Chair of the Provisional Project.Jacqui has obtained her Annual Filing Season Program Record of Completion from the IRS. This certificate confirms that she has participated and completed the necessary IRS continuing education requirements related to Form 1040 series federal tax return issues, ethics, and other federal tax laws for the 2016 Annual Filing Season Program.
Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select QualificationsTo help taxpayers determine return preparer credentials and qualifications, the IRS launched a public directory earlier this year containing certain tax professionals. The directory is a searchable, sortable database with the name, city, state and zip code of credentialed return preparers as well as those who have completed the requirements for the new IRS Annual Filing Season Program and have a valid 2015 PTIN.
